I've stared at this photo quite a bit. Elvis's face is striking to me here. On our right there is still that regal quality, on the left I notice a subtle eye misalignment (I also noticed during his performance later that night of Unchained Melody). It's a decent snap. Certainly the photos are better than the actual film of the presentation, which is sad and heartbreaking.

From the very first time I saw EIC on 10/3/77 I noticed his right eye looked weird. When he was walking back and forth onstage, his left profile, he looked like himself but his right profile, his eye looked strange. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this mentioned here or on any forum.

In the new photo to my eyes (and yes, his right eye looks funny), Elvis looks good! Better than the film. Funny. But there are some profile shots in the show in which I think he looks good as long as it's above the chest.

In Chinese medicine,the right eye in particular is related to liver function.
