Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
Yes, that came out of nowhere.
Must've been a deal was made between the former POTUS and Bobby Jr ,on condition where if Trump wins the election, that he will order new investigative commissions on the historical deaths of his father and his uncle.
Trump vows to release docs on JFK assassination with new presidential commission
Former President Trump will establish an independent presidential commission on assassination attempts if reelected, he announced at an Arizona campaign rally standing alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Friday.
The big picture: Trump said he'll task the commission with releasing all of the remaining documents pertaining to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.
"They will also conduct a rigorous review of the attack last month," Trump said of the assassination attempt against him at at Pennsylvania rally.
What he's saying: "He lost his father and uncle in service to our country, and Bobby himself was subject to repeated threats to his safety during the course of his campaign," Trump said of RFK Jr.
"This is a tribute in honor of Bobby," Trump added.
Zoom out: The announcement came hours after the independent candidate suspended his campaign and backed the GOP presidential nominee.

Latest yougov poll shows Kamala is now leading ex-POTUS Trump in four of seven of the swing states including in Georgia. She and the Democratic party have made inroads.

Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
I'm predicting a Trump landslide victory on Nov. 5 ! Trump all the way !! Kamala has NO policy indicators. She tends to flip flop on every issue. Her annoying & constant cackling & giggling will not win her votes. Voters are picking up on this. Looking forward to the one and only debate this Tuesday.

RFK Jr. & Tulsi Gabbard made the right decision in endorsing former President Trump. They both will get prominent cabinet positions (ie : Sec. Of State & Attorney General) once Trump is sworn into office again.

Let's watch Trump (Hitler) flip flop shall we...maybe watch some real news from time to time instead of FOX (FAUX) News? By the way, this is not new.....
From 5 years ago...yeah...Trump (Hitler) lying and flip flopping isn't a new thing. And you act like he never does!!!

You can disagree all you want, doesn't make you right. The only people saying that Trump is winning in the polls are the right wing propagandists.
Maybe you will learn how to differentiate fact from fiction before you make another fatal voting mistake.

This is exactly why Trump (Hitler) should never be re-elected to another term:

Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
good on you my friend but can you add it on the other two threads?
Makes sense. We don't want to see this thread turn into the previous and protracted two.
The core of this thread is to focus on the six swinging states and perhaps the election before and after debate.

Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
let's hope that during the debate, that there will be straight answers given regarding on what each presidential candidate will deliver 2025 and beyond. No theatrics. The U.S. citizens deserve that much.
From an aussie perspective , i'll be looking for some decisive statement and commitment on the future of AUKUS alliance (Australia, the United Kingdom, the U.S. pact) such as if this will remain in place once there's been a change of leader (but i suspect that it won't even get a mention) ?

Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
WJBF own poll in Georgia also shows a narrow swing to Kamala Harris at present.
The most recent Emerson College Polling/The Hill survey in Georgia finds 48.9% of residents plan to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris and 48% would vote for former president Donald Trump in 2024.
2.1% of voters remain undecided, while .9% say they would vote for someone else.
When undecided voters were asked who they favor, 53.3% said Trump and 46.7% said Harris. Independent voters make up 28.2% of voters, with Republicans making 38% and Democrats making up 33.8%.
As for the issues, many Georgians (40.7%) say the economy is their primary concern. This is how the other issues ranked:
Healthcare: 7.2%
Education: 4.8%
Crime: 5.3%
Immigration: 7.6% (note: same thing applies in AU)
Housing affordability: 10.8% (note: interestingly, it's the same in Australia)
Abortion access: 7.2%
Threats to democracy: 10.2%
Something else: 2.2%
In terms of whether Georgians intend to vote in this election, those number have changed significantly this time around. In the poll from July, (85.1%) said Georgians they intend to vote while the remaining consider themselves somewhat likely (5.8%), fifty-fifty (6.8%), or not likely at all (2.3%).
This recent poll shows 100% of Georgians plan to vote in the 2024 presidential election.

This is what you can expect from Trump (Hitler)Walter Hale 4 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 09, 2024 8:40 amlet's hope that during the debate, that there will be straight answers given regarding on what each presidential candidate will deliver 2025 and beyond. No theatrics. The U.S. citizens deserve that much.

Trump wants to disband NATO and forsake all alliances. In order to weaken the overall U.S. alliances worldwide, because that's what's best for Putin, and Putin is in Trump's back pocket. He doesn't care about our allies and if he ever says something even remotely close to that, there's no truth to it. He lies every time he opens his mouth. And he flip fops depending on public opinion and the remotest sign of backlash against him.
On the other hand, you can expect Harris to honor all existing alliances and respect all terms and conditions that are currently in place, because as a prosecutor, she holds a deep respect for the law.
In stark contrast, Trump wants to get around any and all restrictions of the law. He's running to stay out of prison.
Sadly, Walter, I highly doubt that anything specific will be addressed regarding Australia or the UK/US pact. Simply because the main priority conflict that's front and center right now is between Hamas and Israel and Ukraine & Russia. But, we all know her clear and decisive stance on this: Israel must maintain the ability to defend itself. But also, that Hamas cannot unilaterally decide to attack and kill other human beings, and that they will be held responsible for murdering those hostages. She echoes President Biden's and democratic policies 100%.

Worse case scenerio, ex-President Trump, should he prevail, would rescind on the international pact.
Australia, being a small country, would then be vulnerable to possible invasion or attack.

Re: The Swing States to decide the U.S. Federal election
Latest Poll from NEW YORK TIMES claims it is all deadlocked at this stage.
Harris, Trump deadlocked in new New York Times poll...
Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck in a major new national survey, with less than two months to go before Election Day.
The poll, from The New York Times and Siena College, has Trump at 48 percent to 47 percent for Harris among likely voters, within the poll’s margin of error. The results are similar to a survey from the pair from July, right after President Joe Biden dropped his reelection bid.
The poll comes ahead of Harris and Trump’s ABC News debate on Tuesday night, the only scheduled debate so far between the two candidates. And that debate could be even more crucial for the vice president: According to the poll, 28 percent of likely voters said they feel like they need to learn more about Harris, compared to 9 percent who said they need to know more about Trump.
Additionally, 47 percent of likely voters viewed Harris as too liberal, while 32 percent of likely voters saw Trump as too conservative.
The NYT/Siena survey is one of the few high-quality, national polls that did not show the vice president receiving at least a small bump following her quickly capturing the nomination and her coronation at the party’s nominating convention last month in Chicago.

back on topic,
latest update on Pennsylvania shows a narrow lead for Kamala 46.3% to Trump's 45.6%.

However New York Times has it a more decisive lead for Harris...

All Trump does is lie, lie, lie, and continues to become more and more incoherent.
