"If The Songs Don't Go Over With The Crowd, We Can Always Do A Medley Of Costumes."
Quote by Carters Remasters: On October 24th, 1963, The Beatles performed a live concert at Karlaplansstudion, a studio in Stockholm, Sweden. The show was recorded for Swedish National Radio’s Pop ’63 in front of a well-behaved studio audience, with production handled by engineer Hans Westman.
Because of how highly regarded this performance is, I wanted to sync it to video, to give this live appearance a visual element. I did my best to match the audio with footage, primarily from Drop In, a Swedish live pop show The Beatles filmed just days after this radio concert. When Drop In footage wasn’t available, I used other sources.
The biggest challenge was "You Really Got a Hold on Me" since only about 18 seconds of footage existed. To make it work, I had to use editing tricks and clips from other songs. It’s not the best, but I think it’s passable.
Much of these video clips are sourced from / @edgarferrer8084 Check him out!
The audio is sourced from Lord Reith's stereo remix. Great mix!

Quote dutchbrit84 - "Johns vocals are taken from the original piano demo which I isolated, cleaned up and edited to fit the Anthology Instrumental.
Johns original demo is almost complete except he never finished the bridge, he had the first part (Whatever happened to, the life that we once knew, da da da da daa..) and he had the rest of the melody. Paul added to it and finished the lyrics for the Anthology release. I thought it would be nice to have John continue what he started so I used AI to help John continue singing the bridge sections with Paul and also George. This took a while as I didn't want to be able to tell where Johns original vocals end and the AI begins.
But as the title says, this is Johns original vocals from the demo Isolated and cleaned. It is only a few seconds of AI for a part in the bridge."
Andrew, Parlogram Auctions has been at it again !!! This time he reviews "Ticket to Ride" one of my top 5 Beatles tracks
The Beatles Ticket to Ride | The Lennon Masterpiece That Paul Didn’t Care For...
The Beatles first single of 1965 not only brought about a new sound but new recording techniques in the studio. In this video, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of 'Ticket to Ride' and find out what makes it sound so good and what Paul really thought of the song.
"This was The Beatles' sound before they actually hit the big time - it's the greatest thing I've ever heard them do." - Allan Williams.
Bernard Falk - yes, he of the celebrated Merseybeat combo Cock and his Roaches, and laterly Tony Snow and the Blizzards fame - reports on an exciting musical discovery, believed to be the earliest known live recording of The Beatles.
The tape is in the mighty hands of one Ted "Kingsize" Taylor - the founder of Kingsize Taylor and the Dominoes - and is a recording of a 1962 performance by the Fab Four when they shared the same bill as Ted, at the Star-Club in Hamburg, Germany.
Now, with a little help from nightclub owner Allan Williams - who holds the distinction of being the Beatles' first manager, and the indignity of being forever known as "the man who gave the Beatles away" - Ted hopes to officially release the tapes, which he reckons could be worth millions.
Clip is taken from Nationwide, originally broadcast on BBC One, 17 September, 1973.
The Beatles - Free As A Bird (a clearer Lennon version)
quote
Eric Walker: I would never want to replace the original as they clearly made a feature of the technical limitations of the time and it's wonderful in itself. I've tried to keep this version fairly faithful to the 1995 release, with the exception of John Lennon's vocal which was extracted from the best copy of his 1977 demo I could find using LALAL.AI: Vocal Remover & Instrumental AI Splitter and mixed back in. I also put his voice higher in the mix as it was buried in the original, probably by necessity. Think of this as merely an alternate version where John is front and centre.
This is the best I could achieve with the resources at my disposal (and without going insane through endless tweaking). I hope you enjoy!

Lennon's vocals really shine in this new mix. Well done indeed !

Agreed. Many Beatles fans must be wondering why the AI upgrade wasn't officially done, along with "Real love" in 2023 when they produced "Now and Then" and added it on the Red and Blue remastered albums. I know i am.
