Best track on "Loving you" LP 1957

Hello again!

Here we go with the first soundtrack album and probably one of the best. But again, two tracks have to go and I find "Lonesome cowboy" and "Hot dog" a bit under the standard of the rest of the tracks. And again sorry if I took your favourites away (as I did on "Elvis"...).

On the previous two albums I voted for rockers, but the title track here is marvellous performed, so my vote goes to Loving you.

Vote on!

//Björn

Though I do like Loving You quite a bit, I still went with Got A lot of Living To Do.

A bloody tough one!

I'll go for "Don't Leave Me Now". I ADORE this song! There's just something extra special 'bout it. It has such a relaxed feel, yet Elvis' voice jumps through all sorts of hoops. A magical recording.

'Teddy Bear' - a great 'pop' song nicely arranged and recorded.

For this poll I would have included all songs from side one and dropped a couple of the poorer ones from side two - 'True Love' and 'Blueberry Hill' immediately come to mind.

Still no one angry yet about the exclusions.. :o

However. It´s very interresting to follow the different tastes and opinions.

I promise to arrange a "losers" voting later. A chance for the excluded numbers to have their revenge! :wink:

"Teddy Bear" gets my vote in sharp competition with "Got a Lot o’ Livin’ to Do".
