And here we have the sister/brother to "For LP fans only", but in my opinon a little weaker (BUT still strong) collection of songs. But the cover is cool.
The album starts in a great way, but I have some trouble with the last three tracks.
But one of my all time favourites is on this album and the song is "Baby, let´s play house". It has everything that makes rock-a-billy/rock´n´roll worth hearing. The slap-bass is awesome and the "baby, baby, baby"--stuff is rock history.
Guess my voting....

A vote on "We´re gonna move" is a bit surprising to me. But also fun!

My favorite of this bunch is "Baby, Let's Play House." I like "For LP Fans" more.

Baby let´s play house is the winner, and also my favourite. But "Is it so strange" is surprisingly popular in my opinion. A forgotten classic perhaps?

I voted for Blue Moon of Kentucky. One of the earliest disco records.

Please explain
. Doesn´t sound that much "Stayin´alive" to me. The chorus in Moody blue is probably the closest thing to disco by EP.

I know it's not Stayin Alive type of disco music. To me it sounds like a good dance record.

Soundwise, both "For LP Fans Only" and "A Date With Elvis" stunk! RCA added too much echo to the tracks and ruined them. Your best bet in to check out Kevan Budd's "Elvis At Sun" and find the non-Sun tracks on the various CD releases after 2002.

Of course, the sound is better on "At sun", but the sound on those two albums is the sound that I remember from the childhood. Call it nostalgia if you like.
