Well I don´t agree, but I respect your opinion. By the way, you can relax about "City by night". There are at least two numbers that are far worse (you know the removings). Can you guess which ones?

Yes sir! I will. But I haven´t decided what to do with the live albums. One way is to collect the "new songs" on Madison/Aloha and do a poll of those. Let´s see what the future will bring.

shanebrown wrote:I think if you're going to have to keep it to ten songs, that's the only way to do the live albums - cut out the oldies in the majority of cases and include the new songs and any other classics (for example, i think MSG's Proud Mary is better than the On Stage version). The exception will probably be EIC - That's All Right, for example, is an oldie but one of the best tracks on the album. Oh you have some decisions to make! lol
Thank you Shane! Not a bad idea, but I´m ´not so sure about That´s all right. But he fights hard, but it sounds a bit oversung. Hard album dreview.

I believe Elvis said he didn't understand jazz when he was 22 at a 1957 press conference. However, he had some Duke Ellington records in his collection. I would have said the same thing about jazz when I was that age but now, at 40, I enjoy it and have many discs by Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis and several others. Fortunately, I wasn't famous (and still am not) or in any position where anyone would care to quote me on my thoughts towards jazz back then and regurgitate it for the masses many years later. The man was entitled to change his mind and broaden his tastes as he got older.

Well, I'm well past 50 and I just don't "get" Jazz at all. Leaves me cold.

It´s over!!! The most dramatic poll yet and with heavy discussions about love and hate. Tender feeling is the winner and again a movie song beats the bonus songs.

Thanks for voting!

From the start, I liked the movie's/album's opener, Kissin Cousins #2.
Light and breezy, a typical sunny 60s song.
