If Dowling ever completes his book on this subject, I hope he includes info about the guys who designed these things. It would be interesting to know how much control The Colonel had. I know he supplied photos to many albums. And there is a great photo of The Colonel while he's working on the "It Happened At The World's Fair" cover! It can be found in "Day By Day", I think. I wonder if this was common practice, that Parker pretty much decided what photos and text to use, and then the RCA designers took over from there? Come on Dowling, tell us all about it in your book!

A strange release indeed, I never figured out why they did that.

I never knew about a French release, I thought all were German pressings.
Does it also include that "wonderfull" 3D cover?

I don't know if I'm getting paranoic here, but ever since I've been lurking more actively on these threads, it seems that 90% of the posters here are have some kind of Bruce fan background too. Which is great, don't get wrong...I'm in that camp too! :D

That BTR script cover is nice, but nothing compares to the cd (yikes!) sleeve I have, where I have Bruce's signature 'To [my name], Bruce Springsteen'. He spelled my name wrong, but what the heck, we need to be understanding, don't we! :)

Those Kissin Cousins covers are really cool, I have fond memories of the lp from when I was a kid.

Changing Pants and I'm Leaving are two of my biggest wants. What concert was on I'm Leaving again?
Also the Sanding Room Only and Request Box Shows LP's are amazingly terrific.
