This one's a no brainer really, isn't it. Clearly "Love Song of the Year" is the superior selection.

Well then, strange how you [along with everyone else] haven't voted for it.

I went for Promised Land, but Honky Tonk Angel was a real close second, with You Ask Me To also in the running.

I voted for Love Song of The Year.

My favourite track from this original Promised Land album.

How strange that none of the last three tracks got a single vote!
Apart from "Promised Land" they are the best songs on the album IMO!

I don't always vote for the singles tracks.
I vote for the track I like on the album.
If we all picked the same track there would be no point in having a poll.
You should leave the singles tracks out when it comes to voting.

To me Love Song of The Year is a track I like playing more than the rest on this album.

Neither do I!
On this album though, the single "Promised land" is IMO the superior track.
The other single "If you talk in your sleep" is another strong track and so is
"Thinking about you" and You asked me to"
"Love song of the year" and in particular "Mr Songman" are very weak songs, all my opinion of course and I find very hard to understand why RCA chose "Mr Songman" as the flip side of the great rocker "T.R.O.U.B.L.E".

Well, I had my little theory about that a few weeks ago:

"Why Mr. Songman was B-side? Perhaps Elvis wanted to do Donnie Sumner a little favour??? Only a guess."

Some of the 70's albums did have 2 or 3 singles.
Some singles were released after Elvis died.
