I'm assuming its a straight re-release, on the back has both 2000 and 2017 at the bottom, suggesting its the same masters used in 2000.

Any one picked up a copy? I was tempted......just because lol.

Looks promising. Perhaps a top 20 placing in the charts?

Looks like Elvis will be back in the UK Album charts next week as the 50 Greatest Hits has been re-released and is already at No.24 on the Amazon Charts. It is also receiving TV promotion.

After tonight's ITV coverage, the 50 Greatest album jumped to #3 on the Amazon chart. The two RPO albums were also back in the top 100, with If I Can Dream at #20 and The Wonder of You at #24.

Certainly since the turn of the century, the U.K has become the prime market and the USA has become a secondary market.
It is a shame that Elvis' music is largely ignored in the USA these days.

Just counted 6 Elvis albums in the Amazon.co.uk current best sellers chart (50 Greatest, Elv1s, RPO1, RPO2, Nation's Fav, Essential Collection). It would be excellent if secondary markets like the USA could repeat this success.

Nice. Still three in the best sellers top 100 (The 50 Greatest and the two RPO albums):

It would be great if the 50 Greatest reaches the top ten. It peaked at #8 back in 2000.

Elvis currently number 1 in the UK charts update but only 200 ahead of Ed Sheeran, would be very cool if Elvis could stay at number 1 for the 40th anniversary.

I think Ed will ultimately reclaim No.1 but still......WOW!!!

Elvis Presley's new greatest hits album could extend his Official UK Albums Chart record.

Apparently Elvis is already behind due to people streaming Ed Sheeran, That's the problem no one seems to stream Elvis.

It would be a nice surprise if it tops the chart, but even another top 10 would be cool. And lest we forget, this is actually a re-issued album!
