LEGO Art Elvis Presley set!

LEGO has just revealed their upcoming ART set. And it's Elvis! As a LEGO fan myself I will surely buy at least one set.

The Elvis set should be available from the official LEGO store in a day or two (it's out on 1st March). I'll post a link when it is.

It's the first Elvis themed set from LEGO. They also did a Beatles Art one in 2020 (which I do own).

In Germany Lego will sell It for 119.- € (40 × 40cm) .... man that's a lot for a few plastic-buttons...

You need lots of patience and some skill to put a LEGO art set together. Children playing with bath ducks usually don't have either.

It’s Lego, it’s a kids toy any way you look at it. I didn’t say it was a baby’s toy, but it’s still for children. I’ve got kids and grandkids, and I wouldn’t have had a problem buying an Elvis duck for them to play with. For some reason though, “Elvis ducks” are seen as shorthand for “inappropriate Elvis products”.

Lego on the other hand is a children’s toy. Regular Lego needs a (small) level of skill and patience to put together, but it’s still aimed at kids. So why are adults paying a hundred quid for a child’s toy and justifying it because it’s got Elvis on it? Have they run out of things to spend their money on?

Yes, but my point remains. If somebody has a hundred quid spare and they spend it on Lego, and it’s not Lego to give to a ten year old...

...maybe their financially well off...maybe sitting pretty good in life...maybe it's a gift or just maybe they find it quite appealing as other responses to this post have suggested...so many maybe`s here you could go on forever...but I learned a long time ago whatever anyone finds enjoyment in...really isn't up to someone else to question??...just enjoy it and don't kid yourself some people here are sitting pretty good in life
