Re: G.I. Blues on set New photos plus one Blue Hawaii
Great post, Davide, thank you.
Bizarrely, this month's "Mojo" magazine has an interview with Jimmy Page and in the accompanying picture there's Jimmy and his personal jukebox and just above the jukebox is a framed print of the Elvis with the King and Queen of Thaliand photo.

Re: G.I. Blues on set New photos plus one Blue Hawaii
The June 14th date is incorrect (as many more dates from ITN)davide wrote: Take your pick for the correct date?
And the date mentioned in Day by Day (June 4th) is also wrong.
Tthe correct date is June 7th:
- NY Times published an article about this meeting on June 8th :
HOLLYWOOD, Calif., June 7 -- European and Hollywood royalty met today and neither group was fazed
In the Hollywood phase of their journey the Princesses saw two movies being filmed at Paramount and met
Shirley MacLaine, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley and Juliet Prowse..
- It has also been reported that the scandinavian princesses visited Dean Martin's birthday party on the set .....
Dean Martin's birthday was indeed June 7th
below 2 more from the Royaltyforum:
Please do not thank me--- Thank Elvis for making THIS happen.

That "Unknown" lady next to Elvis in pic nr. 22(First post), could it be Mrs. Marie Parker?

Re: G.I. Blues on set New photos plus one Blue Hawaii
YW Davide, I thought it looked like her, but I wasn`t sure......TY for confirming(Would be a shame if she should remain unknown in the pic, always thought that she must have been a nice lady to Elvis....you know, recording AYLTN for her, naming his daughter after her..etc.)davide wrote:elvisa wrote:That "Unknown" lady next to Elvis in pic nr. 22(First post), could it be Mrs. Marie Parker?
