Separate Ways has some meaning to it (there are separate ways there, which Elvis is standing on). In my opinion, The Artist Collection takes the cake.

As a kid i found the album cover fascinating but I suppose it is terrible. Moody Blue is obviously the worst cover though.

With the Separate Ways cover at least Parker invested in buying a sharp pair of scissors and hired someone who was good at cutting out shapes

Elvis has a lot of cheap looking album covers, especially in the 70's. A medley of costumes as someone once said lol. Poor design, no thought process. no info, etc. Id rank them all bad after Elvis Country, (except the Graceland mansion cover). This cartoon one shouldn't count though. I though this was about album covers in his lifetime. There was so many releases after his death, no one even knows about them all. I didnt even know this cover (but yes its very bad).

I have a copy of the German Pressing of 'Separate Ways' LP in my collection from 1972. Interesting to note that it's the same as the U.S. pressing.

Agree about this cover. I was at this concert so I was glad to get it but the cover is awful. Hate it.

The thing about the UK version of Separate Way is they must have cut out the cut out because the graphic motorway version is still under his right arm, which to me is unbelievably sloppy !!!!!

It's hard to pick...there were so many terrible covers! But Aloha, Pot Luck, Blue Hawaii, Fun In Acapulco, and Raised On Rock strike me as particularly bad.

I'll take this look over that plastic looking wax figure on the Fun In Acapulco album anyday.

I have to disagree.

In my opinion one of his finest looking soundtrack covers also sporting some superb pics on back sleeve.

While I do agree that Separate Ways has a terrible album cover, I have to say that the Moody Blue album cover is by far the worst Elvis album cover.

Who was the guy on separate ways album? Was he Neil Diamond? not good album cover but Aloha was worst. "Elvis fans not so picky and intellectual. They buy it anyhow. We don't need artwork for it. It's Elvis easy to sell" that was the main idea and still going on...
