I've talked to Paul Dowling about it because I didn't know there were different pressings.
He told me there are more different pressings (about 4). The others have a different blue as the backgound color.
Mine is a bit greenish.

The have one thing in common though ... They are all AMAZING !! This must be the most beautiful cover in the world !!!! all I can say is WOOOOOWWWWWW

Thanks Kempo, Barry, Ric and the rest for showing your records. Picasso is nothing compared to the guys who desgined these beauties! Oh how I'd love to see a new full-colour book dedicated to Elvis vinyl records from around the world. It's about time you guys team up with FTD and make this dream come true! I also think Madison could do a great job... And get Gordon Minto to write the text, OK?

He is/was working on a book with record covers for years now. I hope he'll finish it someday.

I think he has become also the Scan (for his special Vinyl Cover Book) of the ULTRA RARE RCA GREEK (GREECE) Vinyl LP Elvis 68 NBC TV Comeback Special with the unique Frontcover (same picture as A PORTRAIT IN MUSIC LP!!) and on the Backside you can read the Tracklisting of the 69 TV Special.
I saw this one only 1 time at my friends house in Athens.
Paul knows about him :D
Great Scans friends!! 8)

All these scans of the different variations of LP sleeves reminds me of when I visited Rex Martin in Cheltenham, Great-Britain, October 1969 when he showed me his collection. He had the same LP over and over. Mono, stereo, USA, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany et cetera.
I prefer to have different LP's with different music and/or different versions, hence for some titles (not necessarily Elvis ones) I have the mono and stereo pressing because they feature a different mix or even different take rather than buying the same LP over and over just because of sleeve variations. For me it's the music on the LP that's important.
However I always enjoy watching all the different sleeves, just like I enjoy watching all those different postcards and stamps, though I do not collect them myself.

Thanks for the info guys. A new book by Dowling? Sound fantastic. If he doesn't finish it, I'll track down his first book instead someday.
