Lake Tahoe,NV. May 9th 1976 closing show. It was a special Mother's Day concert and Elvis performed for two hours and five minutes. There were three songs sung by members of his backing vocal groups ( Kathy Westmoreland & Sherill Nielsen), but still remains the longest concert ever for Elvis.
Some of the songs performed that night were: Return To Sender, Heartbreak Hotel, America The Beautiful, Young And Beautiful, Burning Love, That's All Right, Blue Christmas, Help Me, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, How Great Thou Art, One Night, Blue Suede Shoes, Polk Salad Annie and several others. There were excerpts of several songs as well like: Blue Moon Of Kentucky, For The Heart, Wooden Heart, When The Saints Go Marching On.
The "Dark Blue Aztec suit" was brand new for the July 1975 tour but worn with a different belt.
According to some fan reports Elvis was dressed at the opening show of April 30th in a light blue shirt, red vest and white pants trimmed in green, brown and red sequins in diamond patterns. I certainly never saw any pictures with Elvis from that show or even with a stage attire similar to that. I guess the closest would be the two pieces suit of March-April 1975, or even closer the unusual stage suit worn at the opening show of March 18th 1975 in Vegas.
